1. Seller
These terms of sale apply to all purchases made on samyhalim.com from Samy Halim, artist, sole proprietorship (entrepreneur individuel), SIRET 489 592 790 00039, VAT FR17489592790, 28 rue du Président Wilson, 33500 Libourne, France – .
2. Products
The website offers limited edition giclée art prints, signed Magic: The Gathering artist proofs and, on request, original artworks. Each product is described as accurately as possible. Slight color variations may occur between the screen display and the printed artwork.
3. Prices
Prices are shown in euros excluding VAT. For deliveries within the European Union, VAT at the rate applicable in the destination country is added at checkout and the price including VAT is displayed before payment is confirmed. Deliveries outside the European Union, including to the United States, are exempt from French VAT (export – Article 262 I of the French Tax Code). Shipping costs are shown before order confirmation. For deliveries to the United States, import duties and taxes are prepaid by the seller (DDP – Delivered Duty Paid) and included in the shipping cost shown at checkout: there is nothing more to pay on delivery. For other destinations outside the European Union, customs duties and import taxes may apply and are the responsibility of the recipient.
4. Orders and payment
Orders are placed online. The sale is final once payment has been accepted. Payment is made by credit or debit card through the secure payment provider Stripe; card details are never stored by the seller. An order confirmation is sent by email.
5. Shipping
Orders are shipped once a week, every Tuesday, from Libourne, France, via Colissimo, UPS or DHL, with tracking and signature on delivery. Typical delivery times: 2–3 business days within Europe, 4–7 business days for international destinations. Customs checks may cause delays. If a parcel is not collected and is returned, a reshipping fee may apply.
6. Right of withdrawal
In accordance with Articles L221-18 et seq. of the French Consumer Code, consumers have 14 days from receipt of their order to exercise their right of withdrawal, without having to give a reason, by writing to . Items must be returned in their original condition and packaging; return costs are borne by the customer. The refund is made within 14 days of receipt of the returned item. In accordance with Article L221-28, this right does not apply to items made to the customer’s specifications or clearly personalized (for example, artist proofs with a custom sketch or commissioned works).

7. Damaged items
Each print, canvas and card is carefully inspected before shipping. If an item arrives damaged or defective, contact within 7 days of delivery with your order number and photos of the packaging and the item; it will be replaced or refunded. Legal guarantees of conformity (Articles L217-3 et seq. of the Consumer Code) and against hidden defects (Articles 1641 et seq. of the Civil Code) apply.
8. Intellectual property
The purchase of an artwork or print does not transfer any copyright or reproduction rights, which remain the exclusive property of Samy Halim.
9. Disputes
These terms are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, customers may use a consumer mediator free of charge: [to be completed] (mediator name and website). Before contacting the mediator, the customer must first have submitted a written complaint to the seller. Failing an amicable solution, the competent French courts will have jurisdiction. Consumers residing in another EU country keep the protection of the mandatory provisions of the law of their country of residence.
